Mountain Rhythm ashikos Mountain Rhythm drums are high-quality, handcrafted instruments made in Canada. The djembe and ashiko drums use the patented "Simple Twist" tuning system. If you are frustrated with trying to keep your drum in tune using the traditional Mali Weave system, look no further! Mountain Rhythm drums can be tuned in 10 minutes or less without having to learn the complicated weave system.

Djembe Cajons

Looking for a fresh new sound? Mountain Rythym offers a unique line of djembe cajons, inspired by the traditional three-drum cajon ensembles of Cuba and the rich sounds of Africa. These drums are handcrafted to the same professional specifications as our Circle Series Djembes. The beautiful Mahogany tops provide an exciting alternative sound to traditional goatskin heads which means no more tuning!!! All 3 basic tones, the bass, the slap and the open tone are easily played from the moment you lay your hands on a Mountain Rythym Djembe Cajon. Pine wood with mahogany top. Bongo Cajons

Mountain Rythym Bongo Cajons offer an exciting new sound that is surprisingly reminiscent of traditional bongos. At only 3.5 lbs these drums are easy to travel with and require no tuning. Bongo Cajons are an excellent addition to any percussion set up. Pine shells, mahogany tops. Tops are 7 1/4-inch and 8 1/2-inch. Fits most bongo stands.
