Bourgeois guitar Bourgeois Guitars

These guitars have the Bourgeois headstock signature which guarantees a level of quality that players and enthusiasts alike come to expect in fine steel string acoustic instruments. Handcrafted in an 1840s mill in Lewiston, Maine by Dana Bourgeois and his fellow craftsman. It starts with the wood selection by Dana, a foremost authority on the voicing, selection and utilization of fine acoustic tone woods and ends with each guitar "singing" usually while the entire shop crowds around to hear the pure and balanced tone of another great Bourgeois guitar.

These great instruments have become a favorite of many professional country and bluegrass players such as Ricky Skaggs, Bryan Sutton, Martin Simpson, Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek, Steve Earle, Ron Block, Dan Tyminski, and Marshall Crenshaw.

These models are the remaining Bourgeois guitars we have in stock, which we are offering at closeout sale prices. They were all built in
2011 but are new, never owned.

Except when noted, all models include the following features: 25.5-inch scale length, bone nut & saddle, 1-piece mahogany neck, ebony fretboard & belly bridge, black fretboard binding, high gloss body & headstock, satin neck finish, mother-of-pearl Bourgeois headstock inlay, Bourgeois Premium pickguard, ivoroid bridge pins & end pin, deluxe hardshell case and a limited lifetime warranty.
