Traditional craftsmanship, environmental consciousness, and customer focus are at the core of the Breedlove philosophy. Breedlove does not use endangered rain forest woods and offers the widest selection of non-traditional tone woods in the industry. These guitars also boast impressive custom inlay work and a wide range of body configurations and appointment upgrades.
All Breedlove guitars have tops that are voiced both before and after the braces are applied. Breedlove utilizes a modern, patented bridge truss device that counterbalances the string tension on the top of the guitar. The increased structural integrity of the bridge truss braces the tops for optimal vibration and sound quality and creates what Breedlove calls a "relaxed top." The result is a responsive guitar with rich bass, sweet highs, balanced mids, and a remarkable balance of sound when playing notes up the fingerboard.
Breedlove designed their pegheads so that the strings between the tuners and the nut are parallel to the rest of the string. This is because Breedlove believes that if the strings pass over the nut and then angle sharply towards the tuner posts, there is added dampening, which causes loss in sustain.

Master Class -- includes both Original Designs and the more traditionally-styled Revival Series. Highest grade woods with some exotic wood options, individually voiced, highly customizable. The best of the best from Breedlove's custom shop team in Bend, Oregon. Revival guitars have pre-war X-bracing. Original Designs and Revival-style guitars are also available in the more affordable American, Atlas and Passport series -- see below. Includes a hardshell case.
American -- 100% made in the USA in Breedlove's Bend, Oregon shop, with lower price points than Master Class. Original Design models feature Breedlove's patented bridge truss system and pinless bridge. Revival-style American guitars feature 1-piece necks, solid woods and custom shop craftsmanship. Includes a hardshell case.
Cascade -- Debuting at the 2011 Winter NAMM show, this new line (available in Original and Revival designs) offers an extreme value at a mid-range price point. Cascade instruments are handmade in Breedlove's Korean factory. Features include AAA-grade all solid woods, one piece neck, graduated & voiced top, LR Baggs Element Active VTC, Gold Hardware including Gotoh 381 Tuners, and deluxe hardshell case.
Atlas -- Original Design models include the Stage, Studio and Solo models. These are great performance-ready guitars with upgraded electronics and back-lit chromatic tuners. Retro models are Revival-style guitars with traditional bracing, and also feature upgraded electronics. Atlas instruments are manufactured overseas but are set-up and quality-controlled in Bend, Oregon. Includes a hardshell case.
Passport -- Designed for the traveling musician or those looking for a great guitar at a lower price point. Passport guitars come in both short-scale travel models and full-scale, full-size models -- as well as in Original Designs and Revival-style instruments. Includes a padded gig bag.
