Deering Banjos

We are pleased to be a Deering Banjos Premier Dealer, which allows us to offer you a large selection of in-stock Deering models.

Deering has been manufacturing high-quality banjos, all made in the USA, for over 35 years. From the budget Goodtime series to the upper-line Deering and Tenbrooks series, an astounding range of options are available. Most models can be made in 5-string, 4-string, 6-string and more. Many custom options are also available. (Contact us for details.)

Due to very high demand and a limited production schedule, most Deering banjos listed below will have a wait time of at least 14 months.

Currently, we have our next Deering banjos due in mid-September 2014 (a Golden Eagle II), late October 2014 (a Vega Senator) and mid-December 2014 (a Sierra acoustic-electric). Models in these build slots may be changed with at least two months' notice. So if you would like to place an order with us for a different model, we can substitute it in one of these build slots with enough notice. Very occasionally, build slots may pop up earlier; we're happy to check with Deering on a model you might be interested in.

We generally keep a selection of Goodtime models in stock, with Goodtime orders coming in every 2-3 months. If the Goodtime model you want is not in stock, we can request it in our next order.

All Deering, Vega and Tenbrooks banjos have a hardshell case included in the price. Goodtime banjos do not include a case, but case options are available.
