Double Condor Bass in D --
Double flute made of cedar. With a double flute you play the melody on one side and the other side provides the drone in the root note of the flute -- it sounds like two people are playing. Double flutes have a double mouthpiece so you can switch from a double flute to a single flute instantly with adjustments. Our style is unique and generates more amplitude (volume) and the drone plays the low and high octaves easily.

Triple Flute in A ( photo ) --
Triple chambered drone flute in the key of A minor. This flute is extremely versatile, the left drone plays the root note of "A", the center plays the melody and the right drone has the option of playing one of three notes. This is controlled by which fingering holes are covered with the leather ties that are provided. The flute has three mouthpieces so it can be played single, double or triple. These instruments are recommended for experienced flute players. Made from domestic aromatic cedar.

Woodsounds
Handcrafted from beautiful woods by master flutemaker Brent Haines, Woodsounds Native American Style flutes capture the natural beauty of the materials and are easy to play and dynamically expressive. The silky smooth finish is a pleasure to touch, yet tough as nails.
Haines also developed several innovations to help stave off "wetout." First, the slow air chamber of the flute is designed with a moisture reservoir for capturing moisture. Second, the slow air chamber is sealed to protect the wood in this very wet environment. Third, the air channel is sealed in a slick smooth finish to reduces wood swelling.
NOTE: These are made to order for us, and the wait on these flutes is 4 months or more. Our customers say they are worth the wait! Contact us for current prices & availability.
