30-button Anglos

Also called Anglo-Chromatic, these 3-row concertinas have all the notes of the scale, but still favor playing in, or close to, the two main keys. The top row has the accidental notes; the lower two rows are pretty much the same as on a 20-button Anglo, so it's easy to upgrade from 20 to 30. All of them are single-reed instruments. 30 button student concertina

    Rochelle 30b Anglo C/G -- $395.00

    The Rochelle concertina is designed and developed by The Concertina Connection, based in Washington state. They are manufactured in China, using partly European parts, and they are quality-checked multiple times by The Concertina Connection before shipping.

    This is a great beginning concertina that is much higher-quality than other Chinese-made concertinas on the market. They feature a traditional riveted action, normally only found in expensive handmade instruments. 6-fold bellows, traditional hand rails with straps, accordion-type steel reeds. The Rochelle is a 30-button Anglo model in C/G with traditional Wheatstone keyboard layout, spacing, key diameter and key travel. Black only, with white plastic buttons. Padded gig bag and tutorial written especially for this instrument are included!

    30b Anglo C/G or G/D Italian student model W15 (photo) 2.6 pounds, nickel-plated grille, 6-sided mahogany body, 8-fold bellows, plastic buttons, hardshell case. Although this concertina is priced lower than the deluxe models, the sound is equally good, if not better.
     
    Model W15LN 30b anglo30b Anglo C/G or G/D Italian model W15LN, 2.8 pounds, scrolled wooden ends, 6 sides, quality 6-fold leather bellows, deluxe adjustable leather straps, w/hard case. Sturdy, good sound, improved action. Compare the large JPEG of the W15LN to the W15MS and W15S to see the dfferent button placement -- the wrist bar and strap on the W15LN are further from the buttons, which is a more comfortable position for those with longer fingers. Sometimes available in mahogany ends with plastic buttons, or mahogany body with nickel-plated grille & metal buttons. This is our most popular model of 30-button Anglo.
