30-button Anglos

Also called Anglo-Chromatic, these 3-row concertinas have all the notes of the scale, but still favor playing in, or close to, the two main keys. The top row has the accidental notes; the lower two rows are pretty much the same as on a 20-button Anglo, so it's easy to upgrade from 20 to 30. All of them are single-reed instruments. 30b Anglo C/G or G/D Italian student model W15, 2.6 pounds, nickel-plated grille, 6-sided mahogany body, 8 fold bellows, plastic buttons, hardshell case. Although this concertina is priced lower than the deluxe models, the sound is equally good, if not better.

30b Anglo C/G or G/D Italian model W15LN, 2.8 pounds, scrolled wooden ends, 6 sides, quality 6-fold leather bellows, deluxe adjustable leather straps, w/hard case. Sturdy, good sound, improved action. Compare the large JPEG of the W15LN to the W15MS and W15S to see the dfferent button placement -- the wrist bar and strap on the W15LN are further from the buttons, which is a more comfortable position for those with longer fingers. Sometimes available in mahogany ends with plastic buttons, or mahogany body with nickel-plated grille & metal buttons. This is our most popular model of 30-button Anglo.
