Hammered dulcimer
Karen is the author of two books: the book/tape set Playing the Hammer Dulcimer in the Irish Tradition and Hills of Erin, a collection of transcriptions from the CD by the same name. She has an instructional DVD with booklet for beginning hammered dulcimer that starts with holding the hammers and tuning and goes through beginning arranging and chord patterns.
Her CD Spring Will Come was recorded live at an IMT Concert in 2006 celebrating her 30th anniversary of playing the dulcimer!
