Erik Sharar is currently pursuing a Master's degree in guitar at Peabody Conservatory. He has been teaching guitar privately for several years at a few local studios. He has performed extensively in the US and Europe for over 10 years, and is currently the director of the St. Raphael's Catholic Church Spanish Choir in Potomac, MD. Erik accepts beginning through advanced students. While offering a specialty in classical guitar, he is a versatile musician and teaches most styles of acoustic and electric guitar.

Lessons are $25.00 per half hour or $50.00 per hour, and are held at HMT's new teaching studios at 7008 Westmoreland Ave, Takoma Park, MD. This is next door to our new store location at 7010 Westmoreland. The studios are upstairs from the Curves gym. This location is walking distance from the Takoma Metro station, and free parking is available in the lot behind our new store.
