history, which he incorporates into his teaching. Although a guitar and
bouzouki player originally, Philippe has been playing mainly Irish fiddle
for the last 25 years, and has taken on the Irish button accordion (B/C
tuning) more recently.
He performs currently with the band Coleman's Cross, and hosts two sessions
a week (Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons) at the Bethesda, MD Irish pub
Ri-Ra.
Private lessons are $45 for 45 minutes and are held in Silver Spring (metro accessible).
